A young man named Kyle Theiss was working for me in my landscape business, and one night, he brought his guitar to my studio to do some jamming. Kyle started to play this riff on his guitar over and over. I turned on my recorder and he played the track a few times. I jotted down a few notes, and the next day, Kyle came back over and I had the complete lyric written and recorded for him. The two of us performed this song with my band a few days later. It was kind of an unexpected collaboration, but you just never know where the music is going to come from....
