This song was originally written in 2016, after the tragic shootings at a club in Orlando, FL. It was inspired by a poem I found online that really moved me, as it reflects emotions from the perspective of those taken too soon. Sadly, this song has a place even today with similar incidents and tragedies occurring again and again. May the survivors find comfort knowing that goodbye doesn't mean forever.
